How to get to Patagonia

The road 40 is the longest road in Argentina. It runs along the feet of the Andes from Cabo Virgenes (Santa Cruz) to La Quiaca (Jujuy). It crosses 236 bridges, touches 13 big lakes and salts flats, gives access to 20 National Parks and Reserves, crosses 18 main rivers and connects 27 Andean passes.

By bus:
Some bus companies such as Tirsa, TUS, Don Otto, Mercedes, Via Bariloche, Andesmar, TAC provide service to and from Buenos Aires, other Patagonian destinations, and other Argentine cities.

Flights:
Aerolineas Argentinas and other international airlines have regular flights from and to Buenos Aires.
