Arco de Entrada, Cordoba - Argentina Cordoba is an Argentinean province located on the base of Andes Mountains, known as the Sierra Chica. It is roughly between Santiago in Chile and Buenos Aires, the Capital of Argentina. The province of Cordoba has the second largest population and is the fifth largest in the country. The main city is called Gran Cordoba and is the most important cultural center. It was named the Cultural Capital of the Americas in 2006. Some important events had taken place in this province, such as the University reform in 1918 and the "Cordobazo" in 1969. This entire province has experienced much growth in the last 5 years and travelers can easily find accommodation facilities for every budget, as well as restaurants, numerous steak houses, bars, parks, museums, theaters and more.
